The foundation of Compilator's success was the 1995 release of the applicationme DäckData onto the market. Since then, the business has grown considerably. Today, Compilator offers two main products - DäckData & The Price Generator.

Compilator is a company that doesn't only offer tailor made products for the tire business. A large part of the business consists of sales of hardware, i.e. computers, printers and other accessories that tire garages need. Yet another part of our business is programming - everything from web sites to EDI modules and other kinds of adjustments that the large tire chains often require.

One of the contributing reasons for DäckData's success is Compilator's long experience in the tire business. Anders Paulcén himself, the founder of Compilator, has several years' experience as a shop assistant at a tire service station. This experience means that we cannot only develop the best computer system on the market, but also have a good knowledge of what kind of hardware you as a customer need .

What is the future strategy?

We have successfully launched DäckData in both Norway and Finland. The application remains competitively internationally and we plan to introduce the application to several countries. For the moment, our primary focus is on the Scandinavian market. We have recruited multilingual staff with the aim of providing excellent client support in the client’s mother tongue. The application is currently available in Swedish, English, Norwegian and Finish.

Fast growing

A vigorous expansion in tandem with excellent profitability resulted in Compilator being recognized when the fastest growing Technology Company’s in Europe were to be crowned. European Technology 500 provides objective ranking of companies, where Compilator was named among other corporations like: Sigma, Song Networks, Tele2 and Getinge. Among the list of Swedish Companies, Compilator was ranked 17th and in comparison with other companies in Europe, Compilator was ranked as the 210th fastest growing company.
